MEET YOUR NURSE

My name is Rachel Talbot, RN, and I founded Aging Well With Rachel to help seniors in our community live healthier, safer, and more independent lives.

I was born and raised in Baker City and am proud to serve the community that helped raise me. I’m married to my high school sweetheart, and together we are raising our two daughters here in Eastern Oregon.

I earned my Associate Degree in Nursing from Treasure Valley Community College in 2022 and later completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Oregon Health & Science University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Since becoming a Registered Nurse, I have been passionate about helping patients better understand their health, medications, and the steps they can take to stay well.

Through my experience as a nurse, I saw how difficult it can be for seniors and their families to manage medications, navigate healthcare visits, and understand complex medical conditions. Many families simply need a knowledgeable, compassionate nurse who can take the time to sit down, review medications, answer questions, and provide guidance.

That’s why I created Aging Well With Rachel.

My goal is to provide personalized, in-home nursing support focused on medication safety, disease education, and preventative care. I work with seniors and their families to keep medications organized, improve understanding of health conditions, and help prevent unnecessary hospital visits.

I believe aging well means maintaining dignity, independence, and confidence in your health. My mission is to support seniors in doing just that—right in the comfort of their own homes.

I am honored to serve individuals and families throughout Baker County and surrounding communities.
